Visual identity for a fictive contemporary art museum in Lisbon
The Museum of Contemporary Art in Lisbon is a project carried out as part of the Brand Image course taught by Valérie Yobé at ÉdAC (Université du Québec en Outaouais).
The aim was to imagine the visual identity for a contemporary art museum in Lisbon, giving students complete artistic freedom on the subject. Since it was specified in the brief that the logotype should also apply to the cell phone and tablet medium, I created a flexible logo that could be adapted to different types of communications and media.


The color palette is inspired by the colorful buildings found in the Portuguese capital. The overall visual identity conveys the image of an open, warm and innovative museum. Each color and shape of the logotype is linked to a section of the museum.
